1. Portrait To attempt to blur out the background, camera will try to use the fastest available lens setting (aperture) 2. Macro/ Close-Up this mode used for taking close-up pictures. 3. Landscape camera will attempt capture detail in foreground and background by using high f-stop (aperture) settings 4. Sports To freeze motion, camera will use the highest shutter speed possible. 5. Party/ Night longer exposures to capture darker scenes. Usually used with flash and some nice effects can be created 6. Day light - camera adds warm tones 7. Auto - camera sets white balance. 8. Tungsten - camera adds cool tones 9. Custom - photographer sets the white balance. 10. Fluorescent - camera adds warm (red) tones 11. Auto Flash Off - the flash won't fire 12.
